My research interests center upon nonprofit and public management writ broadly, with an emphasis on organizational culture, factors that lead to improved service delivery, and various elements of innovation within organizations. Specific areas of my current research agenda focus on organizational and managerial innovation, social innovation and entrepreneurship, and conceptual hybridity/new legal forms of social enterprise.

Specifically, I am currently engaged in projects that focus on organizational innovation typologies, L3Cs, program related investments (PRIs) and other forms of impact investing, and work integration social enterprises.
